RSP Client package problem

RSP Client package problem

I have installed RSP, all packages have come down except the Remote Support Client, which refuses to budge. Get this error

Anyone seen it before. I am going to try and log a call with HP

Hi,

I had the same error and started the installation manually by running

C:\WINNT\System32\msiexec.exe /qn /l*vx RSCinstall.log /i "C:\Program Files\HP\SWMAgent\.marimba\ISEE_CMS_SWMAGENT\ch.19\data\msi\iseeClient.msi"

from the command line.

Application is still shown as "failed(install)", but at least after reboot the option is visible in HPSIM under "Options...".

What I also found out: You need to either use direct console or when using RDP append the /console switch to be able to install some of the components of Remote Support Software Manager.
