SolutionHi Azhar,
The solution for this issue is to un-install and re-install only the RSSWM.
You do not need to re-install any of the IRS packages.
However, you will need the ITS installation package that you downloaded from the HP software depot.
Go to Start > Programs > Hewlett-Packard>Remote Support Software Manager > uninstall Remote Support Software Manager
The 'Uninstall RSSWM Agent" pop up appears; Select No to uninstall the RSSWM agent and leave managed software.
This will remove RSSWM only and the packages will be left intact.
Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the server if possible, and restart the IRS installation from the installation package.
This will install only RSSWM and check the integrity of all the packages.
If you are not comfortable executing these steps or if you face any difficulties during the procedure, please log a support ticket and an HP IRS support engineer can assist you to resolve the issue.

Re: RSSWM: country/region not set error
Hi,
un-install worked. Kicked off the installation again & everything went fine till the part where it checks secure connectivity to HP.
Installtion is sitting point in picture for last hour. Do i cancell & start installation again?
Thanks.

Re: RSSWM: country/region not set error
Hi Azhar,
Yes, please cancel and run the installation once again.
Make sure you have connectivity to the HP backend as well.

Re: RSSWM: country/region not set error
Hi,
I left the installation running while I stepped out for lunch. When I got back ,the installation had completed successfully.
Everything seems to be running properly now.
Thanks for the assistance
