Remote Support Pack under Software Depot Home
Remote Support Pack under Software Depot Home is NOT available - planning to migrate from ISEE to Remote support pack on our HP-UX 11.11 (9000 servers). what is the best approach in installing/migration RSP on all our HP-UX Pa-Risc systems?

Re: Remote Support Pack under Software Depot Home
RSP is bundled with HP SIM, which can be downloaded from http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim (I think it actually redirects to the software depot). N.B. All Remote Support flavors only run on Windows. If you were planning on using the HP-UX version of SIM to run RSP, you're out of luck.
On the HP-UX servers, you'll have to uninstall ISEEPlatform and meet the requirements in the RSP prerequisites guide, but basically you need recent-enough versions of WBEMServices and SysFaultMgmt. Once this is done, WEBES (which is part of RSP) will take care of subscribing to events on your servers, and analyze them to open service tickets at HP if needed.
Securing this on HP-UX is another issue. If you run IP Filter or do not want to have to save the root password in SIM, there are additional steps that need to be taken.
Good luck
