Unable to stop isee service in shutdown

I have a problem when I try reboot the system. Shutdown process hangs when it is executing /sbin/init.d/hpservices stop
and, when it ocurrs, I haven't connect the server by terminal.
If I execute the above command in root prompt, it show the message:
ERROR: unable to stop daemon. You will need to kill it
but it not hangs
I have rp7420 model with B.11.11
I have to reset the partition, then kill the process and, finally, reboot the system. If I don't follow these previous steps the shutdown process hangs.
But, if I am connected by terminal and I reboot the system by console, I can see the processes runnig. The problem occurs with process called matcli.
The command ps show line:
matcli -x
This process is raised by script /sbin/init.d/hpservices
My ISEE version is A.03.90.872
Can anybody help me with this problem ?
Thanks in advance

Re: Unable to stop isee service in shutdown

Does the file:

/var/opt/hpservices/log/matcli.log

give any clues?

Re: Unable to stop isee service in shutdown

Hi Roger,

This seems to be a known problem where there are more than one mad daemon running. You need to use kill -9 on both mad daemons before doing the shutdown.

This problem has been fixed with the latest ISEE version A.03.95.026.

You can download the new version from:
http://software.hp.com

Please upgrade your Servers.
