I try to set RSP to monitor EVA via Command View 8.0.1. When testing to send hardware failure indicent, there are no incident appear in HP SIM, but it stored in WEBES Notification on CMS with status "Undelivered: ISEE; Delivered: HPSIM, SMTP, LOG;", What I did wrong?

Please check, if your configuration meets the requirements described in the manual A.05.10 SE RSP CMS Prerequisites and Managed Systems Configuration Guide, available on http://www.docs.hp.com/en/netsys.html#Service%20Essentials%20Remote%20Support%20Pack
. Further documentation regarding RSP is being placed there.

Did you register the Remote Support Client with the HP Data Center?

If you didn't that would cause the "Undelivered" status you see in WEBES.

To verify this is the issue and remedy it if it is, select the "Remote Support Configuration and Services" option in HP SIM and look at the form visible under the "Settings" tab. If the form displays a yellow highlighted message saying "Remote Support has not been registered" then input the required information (every field marked with a * is required) and submit the form.

Then select the undelivered notification in WEBES and re-try (delivery) of the selected event. That should fix you problem.

Take care,

Hello,

Did you edit the properties in the yellow triangle icon in Webes ( "Configure Webes Notification settings" )?

If not, edit the SNMP notification (HPSIM host name) and check if everything is in green color.

Verify if Webes has all the entitlement information needed for the server you are testing. Don├В┬┤t modify this information in Webes, modify it in HPSIM.

Are you testing the HW failures with "wccproxy test" command?

Hope this can help you!
