Why does Insight RSA support only a static VM?
The release notes state:
VMware vCenter features that are
not supported on a Virtual Machine based Hosting Device includes VMware vMotion, VMware Fault Tolerance, VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), VMware High Availability (HA), VM cloning, and VM copying.
As espically for maintenance it is important to move the load to another Server to avoid downtimes - why is this not supported and what happens if a server is move to another server?
Will it work if it is moved back to the original server?

Re: Why does Insight RSA support only a static VM?
Hi Frauke,
The issue with this support is primarily that it has not been qualified by HP. There are concerns that the information collected about the Central Management Station would not remain the same as the guest is migrated between machines. If that were to happen, it would cause issues with handling service incidents and collections that are submitted to HP.
