how to install ISEE on linux

Pls. suggest /advise how to install ISEE on Linux platform in Model 3 where hardware is Blade Server...

Hi Ajay,

Download the isee for linux from software.hp.com site.

ISEEPlatform_Linux.tar

We can also see the installation doc's with this please read and do the installation.

It is very simple process copy the tar file
on the server

extract the tar, then run the executable file.

It will install isee client on the server.

check with ps -ef | grep hpservices.

Then add the warranty, customer and additional required information throught the link.

the check the test trap.

The detail for the installation is -

mkdir /usr/ISEEInstall
cd /usr/ISEEInstall
tar -xvf ISEEPlatform_Linux.tar
./ install.sh


Access the link

http://client_ipaddress:5060/start.html

Add the additional information.

Check with test trap

Hi,

Setup Model 3 clients are almost the same on all platforms, what you need is to setup SNMP to send traps to your CMS. I believe you set this from HP Management Agent.

There is no ISEE client software needed for model 3.

On the CMS, you then configure SNMP to accept traps from these Model 3 clients, or you can say "accept ALL".
