Hello All,

May i know where to check for SE RSP Client installation/Registration?

any specific logs?

The client install lays down the following registry entries:

For 32-bit OS installations:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\IseeRoot =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\CurrentVersion =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\ClientInstalled =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\RemoteSupport\RemoteSupportRoot =

For 64-bit OS installations:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\IseeRoot =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\ Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\CurrentVersion =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\ Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\ClientInstalled =
HKLM\SOFTWARE\ Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard\Isee\RemoteSupport\RemoteSupportRoot =

The ISEE client installs by default in the standard Windows location C:\Program Files\HP. If a non-standard location is chosen the client root path will be \RemoteSupport

The client directory structure has the following format:

\RemoteSupport\bin
\RemoteSupport\config
\RemoteSupport\data
\RemoteSupport\doc
\RemoteSupport\isee-entitlementproxy.sar
\RemoteSupport\logs
\RemoteSupport\tmp

A uniquie GDID is assigned when RSP registers successfully. Best practice is to verify via iseeclient.log that a GDID was assigned. If GDID is not assigned, then RSP did not register successfully. Resolution is to uninstall and then reinstall RSP.
