2nd CPU installation on rx2600
Hi, I just installed the 2nd 900 MHz Itanium2 CPU on my rx2600 and I get a message in the boot process that reads: Error[40]: CPUs installed with mixed cache sizes. And the boot process stops with that condition. Anyway I booted from file and I checked the CPUs and they are exactly the same. Also checked the Info CPU EFI commands and seems to be perfect.
But every time I boot I get that error...
Any ideas?
Thanx in advance!

Re: 2nd CPU installation on rx2600
Could you provide the 'info all' EFI command output?

Re: 2nd CPU installation on rx2600
Hi Mario,
Based on what you have stated in your message you have CPUs that do not have the exact same cache size. Where did you get your 2nd CPU? It would appear it is not intended for an rx2600.
Eric

Re: 2nd CPU installation on rx2600
Hi!
The CPUs are from HP. Exact Part Numbers
(A7231-62039) both of them...
The output of the Info All command was totally correct as far as I remmeber (I'll post it)
Thanx again!
