Hello All! 

AM391A - BL890C i4 Npars Enablement kit. Does this mean i canot do vpars on my blade servers?

Hi,

You can certainly run vPars v6.x on your bl890ci4 blade, so long as you have HP-UX11iv3 VSE-OE, DC-OE or the HPE Integrity Virtual Machines v6.x software and licenses installed. The bl890ci4 is composed of 4x 2-socket blades. Creating an nPar either combines or isolates these blades, forming Node Partitions (nPars). The enablement kit AM391A provides factory configuration of 1 to 4 nPars. e.g if you require a bl890ci4 composed of 2 nPars, with each nPar having 2 blades, you would order AM391A #002.

Then in each nPar, you could run your Virtual Services Platform (VSP) hosting VM's and/or vPars v6.x.
