Add A6869A VGA card to rx7620 server
We have added the vga card in Bay 0 Slot 2, but it isn't listed in the devices as far as we can tell. Can anyone tell me the steps to configure this card so that we can redirect the console output to it? I have attached some output from EFI commands.
thanks

Re: Add A6869A VGA card to rx7620 server
Hi Kathy,
The EFI log does show the VGA card installed in slot 2. All you have to do is select the system active console from EFI Boot manager -> Boot option maintenance menu.
Refer following document on page 60 for the procedure. Just ensure to select the VGA card as active output, input and error device. Save the setting to NVRAM.

We issued at the EFI shell prompt:
acpiconfig windows
reset
This gave us the option to redirect the console. Thanks
