Hello,
We need to add a new npar to a rx7640, we have first to install the hardware and the configure the new npar.
This is the list of hardware we are going to install:
Cell board, in cell 0
Mp core/scsi io card , in slave mp
Procurium lan/scsi Card, in io chassis 0 slot 8
2 74gb scsi disks
Are we missing hardware to be able to configure a new npar?.
After installing the hardware we will level out all the firmware
And create the new npar from the current partition.
As you can see, the curren rx7640, has this installed:
The following MP bus devices were found:

Do we need any extra steps?
Thanks for the help.

SolutionLooks good to me.
After installing the cell and I/O boards, run the same commands to confirm they are seen. The MP command SYSREV will help you compare the F/W between cell boards. Use the parcreate command to create the new nPar. But, you probably already knew that ;-)
