BL860c i2 boot problem

I have some trouble with a BL860c i2 Blade server (only one over 8 installed) with the boot sequence.

A reboot doesn't work because the local RAID controller with its logical disk is not available (only DVDs and LANs), the solution is to select first UEFI Shell, which find the local RAID controller, then type 'fs0:' and 'hpux', and the boot is made successfully (see attachment).

My question is how to repair this boot sequence to have an automatic boot.

Re: BL860c i2 boot problem

Once you have HP-UX running, use "setboot -p /dev/ -b on" to set the boot path and enable the autoboot flag. This is probably the easiest way to do it.

You can also use the EFI boot menus to define a new boot entry and place it in the top-most slot in the boot menu.

Run "man setboot" and see the EXAMPLES section near the end.

Thank you Matti,

setpath command is good to fix it.
