BMC & IPMI problem with rx2660 servers
"BMC Interface to IPMi failed"
It then continues for a few seconds and comes up with the following errors:
"BMC cannot be accessed"
"One or more BMC ports failed"
"BMC token write failed during NUM write through"
"Invalid or Inaccessible system ID(s)".
After all these error prompts, the server then shuts down.
Server2-rx2660:
During power up / boot process, it gives the error bellow:
"BMC system log full"
It then continues the boot process to a level and says "System reset" and then reboots it's self. It goes on and on like that.
Please can any one give solution steps to resolve these problems?
Thanks.

Re: BMC & IPMI problem with rx2660 servers
you get ""Invalid or Inaccessible system ID(s)"." so let's check the settings first.
From the MP reset the BMC:
MP:CM> rb
RB
Execution of this may result in loss of system events.
Do you want to reset the BMC? (Y/[N]): y
y
-> BMC was issued a reset.
After the selftests, please go to the EFI shell and run
Shell> info all
Shell> sysmode service
Shell> sysset
Shell> sysmode admin
and post the results.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: BMC & IPMI problem with rx2660 servers
I have the same BMC & IMPI problems. Errors 09, 21, 52, and 55.
I tried the outlined procedure, but nothing happened. The BMC did not seem to reset after the RB command, and the errors still hapopened. I also can't update the firmware because I can't boot the DVD drive.
Any ideas?
