Booting BL870 i2 from SAN

I am experiencing an issue with my new BL870 i2 blades and booting from SAN. After running the BOOT_OPTIONS procedure and defining both members of my system disk shadow set, I can not boot from a member if I break it away from the shadow set. (as a fall back point)
