CPU replacement in Itanium RX5670 server!
Hi Guyz! I have done a swapping of CPUs in a 2-Way Itanium RX5670 server.I replaced the 1Ghz CPU with the 1.3Ghz CPU.I have put the required firmware updates and the required patch i.e PHKL_29425.The server is using HP-UX 11.22.The problem am having is that afterll all the installations the system fails to identify the CPU model. If you machinfo, the CPU model is unavailable. What could be the problem???
