Re: Cache Error(s) detected on processor in slot

hi,

http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/ems/cmc_em.htm

check the event ID : Event 100642

i would recommend to contact your support company ( usually HP ) to check the CPU health.

the offline check will be required.

Re: Cache Error(s) detected on processor in slot

Is this a vpar setup?
Any vpar abruptly hanged & crashed the whole npar?

Normally, if your vpar hangs, then there are some RACE condition patches, which logs the error in MP.

Many times, we are not getting logs captured for cache in MP logs. HP orders the whole cellboard.

Thanks,
Vivek

What kind of a server do you have? What HP-UX version?
