Can integrity servers run more than 1 operating system together
Hi,
I now it's possible to install HP-UX, windows server, Linux OpenVms on integrity server. What I ignore is the possibility to run 2 operating system at the same time on integrity Server with physical partitionning.
thanks for your help

Re: Can integrity servers run more than 1 operating system together
Within a nPar you have further choices:
You can use vPars and mix different hp-ux versions (11.23 and 11.31)
or
you can use HP Integrity virtual machines and install (at the moment) hp-ux 11.23 or 11.31, Windows and/or linux as guest.
You can even mix this - example:
npar1 - plain os (hp-ux, vms, ... )
npar2 - vpars
npar3 - HPVM (with different OS guests)
see

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

http://docs.hp.com/en/vse.html#HP%20Integrity%20Virtual%20Machines
When I was testing, I had HP-UX 11.23, 11.31, Red HAT Enterprise and Windows Server 2003 all running on a single RX6600.
