Cannot Install HPUX 11.23 on rx2640 from Ignite or CD -

There was a case with the above subject but there was no resolution or work around spelled out. Does anyone know what the answer was?

PS. The problem is that when I use June 2007 11.23 to do cold install, it fails with the following errore:

Hi,

as mentioned before there is system called "rx2640".
You got an ISL prompt, so this is NOT an rx system anyway.


Please check the system model name again.

Correct....my system is rp8400 but it was the same issue.

I found out that there is a bug with ignite on this version of 11.23 dated June 2007 which chocks if the server was presented Clariion disks. By disconnecting the HBAs I was able to proceed
