Cannot Install HPUX 11.23 on rx2640 from Ignite or CD

Hi to all,
We're having a problem with an rx2640 that we're trying to rebuild. It currently has 11.23 Enterprise installed (using media) but we now want to upgrade to MCOE.
Unfortunately when we try to lan boot, we never get as far as the ignite gui, instead we get this error...

ERROR: Could not write disk information file

Now worryingly we also get the same error if I try to install the new OS from the cd media!

Has anyone seen this sort of thing before, or have any suggestions to try?

There was never a model rx2640 - is it a rx4640?

In case this box has new montecito CPUs, you need a new and current version of the install media - which one do you use?

Sorry yes it was my typo, it's an rx7640.
I'll look into this new CPU type, thanks for the lead...

The issue maybe with the version (not latest) of the IG-UX being used in here. Refer this thread
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1152793 where the author has faced similar issue and mentioned the work-around.

You can try with latest version of IG-UX C.7.2 and see if it gets through.

Thanks to the guys who have posted so far, I can confirm I'm using the June 2007 MCOE DVD's.
And the error generated after booting off the DVD mentions ignite 7.2.94...

Problem was with multiple cell boards and latest version of ignite!
