Re: Cannot boot from DVD drive

Hi,

If the DVD entry is not there in the boot option, you need to add it.
Best wishes,

Ganesh.

Hi Isobhi

At EFI menu you manually need to add entry for DVD Rom

Re: Cannot boot from DVD drive

The reconnect doesn't show a DVD - do you have several nPars configured?

The internal DVD is connected to cell1 only.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Cannot boot from DVD drive

It looks to me like only devices connected to cell 0 are listed.

However, please post

Shell> devices

Shell> info all

and from MP

MP:CM> cp

MP:CM> io

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Cannot boot from DVD drive

The primary or default root cell in a single nPartition system is the bottom cell (cell 1).

The internal DVD is per default connected to the core I/O of cell 1.

You have only cell 0, hence the DVD is not connected.

If you plan to reinstall the system, you should consider to swap the cell position.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
