Configuring LAN Speed from Hardware Level on rx7640

I need to ask if it is possible to set the speed of LAN ethernet card to 1Gb from the Hardware level (EFI Shell) not from the OS. I did that from OS but I found when server connect to 100Mb switch port and while server booting, a message indicates that there is a mismatch speed on ethernet card and this could cause some errors on this card.

Please help !

Yes it is possible.

At EFI shell
1. Get the ethernet card driver handle using "drivers" command
2. Then details of the driver handle using "dh -d "
3. Look for correct interface port on the card which needs to be configure
3. Configure the interface with the required speed using "drvcfg"

The reason for the errors you are seeing because the 1Gb card will auto negotiate by default and for some reason the there is speed mis-match occurring.

Thank you Sameer for your reply.
I did the drivers command at EFI Shell, then I used drvcfg -s command to set the speed on the required Etnernet Card.

Thank you for your help !
