Re: Console is on a Serial Device using RX4640
Hi Naaaa,
If you want to configure in serial or VGA console mode.
Step 1.
Boot to the EFI Boot Manager Menu.
Use ^ and v to change option(s). Use Enter to select an option
Step 2.
Select : Boot Configuration
Step 3.
Select : Console Configuration
Step 4.
Select : Select Input Console
Step 5.
To select the serial console chose :
Acpi(HWP0002,0)/Pci(1|1)/Uart(9600 N81)/VenMsg(Vt100+)
* NOTE * This example is for an rx4640, the hardware paths will differ depending
on the hardware platform.
Some systems have multiple serial ports available depending on the Management
Port (MP) card.
Select the device that has vt100+ in the description, do not assume that the
first device is the correct one.
For VGA / USB keyboard/mouse on the rx4640 :
Acpi(HWP0002,0)/Pci(4|0)
