OK, nobody apparently could answer my other question so I have a simpler one. Does anyone know if the cooling fans (front and rear) are load temperature sensitive or do they run all the time at high speed. According to my documentation, I understand the rears to be the primary and fronts secondary that don't necessarily run at all unless a temperature situation calls for them. All 4 run all the time and do seem to have a slightly lower speed setting but not much..thanks greatly for your time to help me not go on a wild goose chase..thanks..

Solution
A Pair at Back and Front main fan's in your system
An addition 6 smaller Fan's spins for cooling, all 10 are up and running Constantly, however a pitch might be taken and you can notice some fan's run with higher speed to bring temperature down at X location.
Additional Please for fan Speed verification if System Management HOME Page under: Recovery, Environmental.
Rear big fan's are the Primary and front is Redundant

Re: DL590/64 Fans
OK..thanks so much. That's what I needed to know..now I won't chase that as a possible problem any more.
