Disk red led

I have itanium server rx2600 with 2 disk P/N :A9897A (73Gb 15k).
Active led of my disk is RED and go green when disk have activity ?
Error led is off. Disk work nice.
Where is the problem ?
I can't find any Decode for Disk LED on HP site !

The same disk work without red light on other slot on same server ?

Hm...for the second question: NO.
It is very strange.
Did you try to use "ioscan -fnC disk" command?
Every disk in CLAIMED status?
Can you list the device file with "lssf " command?
If everything is OK. Then can you reboot the server? I think that trouble will be solved.
I do not know but a long time ago, my server had the same trouble. And I call to HP to get support.
They can not find the exactly the result. Very strange: the red LED disappear when reboot my server?

I try rebooting but noting. Red come again before O/S start and still red.

Disk have lastest FW :(
Problem isn't relate to disk.
Same DISK on other slot work without red led !

I discovered the same sort of problem on an rp3440 (Same hardware chassis) last week at a customer.

There was a hardware intervention from HP when I was not there, but the problem is solved now.

This is what the person of HP has written on his report

These is an current issue!
Bend middle rail slot!
