Duplicate entries in RX2660?

Re: Duplicate entries in RX2660?

I guess thats another interesting thing. EFI is reporting two physical disks; ID 6, Lun 0 and ID 0, Lun 2. If the P400 controller is only reporting on volume then the issue here is with EFI.

Run the following from EFI Shell:

>devices
>devtree

Look at the ouput and see if duplicate entries exist there as well.

The forums have a problem with IE and .zip attachments. It's ok for .Zip or .ZIP.

Re: Duplicate entries in RX2660?

Hi Dillonlim,

we are getting back to the same findings here, this server has two LUNs on the SmartArray P400 visible at EFI shell and both partitions have the same contents and same GUID.

The fs0: and fs1: have the EFI files from a Windows 2008 server installation.

So as requested before, can you check the ORCA config by pressing F8 (or ESC 8) in your telnet session to the MP/iLO when the server boots and check for :

- the number of logical drives the SmartArray reports (should be 2 as per the map output)

- go into the ORCA utility and select View
- capture the screenshot eventually
- also press enter on each logical drive to see the details of each (to see the physicall drive(s) details).

HTH
