Free PCI slots

Hello,

I have an Itanium server which does not support the usage of olrad, below is the output of ioscan

pth 0/4 looks empty - what server model is it?

Could you please post a

# ioscan -fn

Your server can have a PCXi, PCXe or a combo riser card - this makes the difference.

You already have a P400 on 0/3 and an AD299 fiber card on 0/5 which are both PCIe cards so you have a combo PCIe/PCI-x bus.

0/2 is unused and most likely is a PCIe

0/4 is unused and clearly stated as PCI-X

This is NOT and rx2600, it looks like a rx4640 with 4 PCI slots. The rx2660 has only 3 PCI slots and there is NO 0/5 bus.

Actually your server is most likely an rx2620 with 4 PCI slots. The rx2660 has 3 slots and the rx4640 has 6 slots.

Ignore my previous posting, I overlapped your ioscan reply.

Your new ioscan looks the same as the two previous ones. My rx2660 does not have a 0/5 bus at all but it is all PCI-X. Maybe your 0/5 is the result of the use of the builtin P400 raid card on 0/3.
