Generating CD's from HP F/W .iso files.
I am having a problem creating CD's from .iso files downloaded from HP.
I download the ZIP file to my PC, un-zip it using WinZip, and then try to transfer it to a CD using the "cdburn" utility. d: is my dvd drive. This is what I get.
C:\rx3600>dir
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is EC0E-5BE8
Directory of C:\rx3600

C:\rx3600>cdburn d: c:\rx3600\Disk_products\PF_DIPF0307.iso
Error verifying ISO image
C:\rx3600>
Am I doing anything wrong here?
Thanks Dave.

Re: Generating CD's from HP F/W .iso files.
The last time I fiddled with this, I used Sonic and I told it to "burn image", and it worked when I pointed to the .iso file, even if .iso wasn't in the registry.
Something is wrong with cdburn. Is it trying to make a Windows bootable CD?
If there is an option, you need to tell it to just make an image.

Re: Generating CD's from HP F/W .iso files.
anyway,
I found some freeware that did the job,
http://www.ntfs.com/iso-burning.htm
at least as far as writing the CD. I wont know until later if it gave me a bootable disk.
Thanks for your response.
Dave.

You can reopen it and apply some here. :-)

In my case, I wasn't so concerned about being bootable but as to what was on the CD.
I believe the EFI shell was also able to execute the stuff on the CD.
