HP Integrity RX 2620
i have got two HP Integrity RX 2620, one which is in use and fully functional with HP UX p1123uia64 and running raid 1 with 2 disks.
The second server i have was kept as an spare server, and i tried to boot it yesterday! the server has got no ilo port, no vga port, and only 1 blank hard disk. i managed to use a serial cable and boot it up! at a point of time it says (please find attached snapshots)
after it says CPU0 launch EFI, i get a blank scree. any way of recovering the efi???

Re: HP Integrity RX 2620
So, asking about this stuff in a Tru64 forum
may not be the most efficient path to good
information.

If you're using a serial terminal (emulator),
then why post a JPEG image instead of showing
the simple text? Are you trying to make this
more difficult than it needs to be?>

Re: HP Integrity RX 2620
"and only 1 blank hard disk." shat does mean ???
did you wipe the HDD inside the stanby server ???
If you like to restre the system, make ifrom your Ignite backup ( tape / server ).

Re: HP Integrity RX 2620
You should get the EFI menue or an option to enter it.
Has there be a recent firmware update attempt?
