In some time we will have to replace several HP 9000 PA-RISC servers with new servers. As we have quite a lot of software developed for HP 9000 PA-RISC servers (HP-UX), it looks more preferable to move to HP Integrity servers, but I failed to find any good info on Integrity Servers perspectives. How long they will be supported/evolved by HP? Won't they be replaced by another RISC servers in the nearest future? Won't they be just taken out of production and it is better to consider and plan moving to x86 servers?
Could anyone recommend any good resources of info on HP Integrity servers perspectives?
Thanks a lot in advance

Solution
You will find the Intel / HP roadmap for Itanium which has no end ...
HP runs the major OS HP-UX, VMS and Nonstop all on Itanium hardware, so they IMHO need this platform ...
Depending on your needs have a look at rx2800 i2; the blade BL8x0c i2 or even at the superdome 2.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
