HP Integrity rx4640 hardware changes affect on UUID

I have two similiar aged rx4640's with Windows 2003 Ent running. The differences between the two are one has a 32 DIMM memory board and 4 1.6-9 meg processors and the other has a 16 DIMM board with 2 1.6-6 meg processors.

The goal is to replace the current slower 2 processor production machine with the faster 4 processor spare machine. Can the memory board or processor board be interchanged without UUID conflict ? Or are these components UUID locked ?

As an alternate, could the boot disks be swapped ? Or does the EFI parition store specific data ?

I don't see any problem when changing CPU, memory or the boards.
If changing the disks, better to do the nvrambackup from efi first.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
