HP-UX boot issue

we have HP-UX rx2620 which was running fine upto last week(11.23). Suddenly it was in hung state I had reset from console and after that it came to the shell> prompt. From there I am not able to boot and not finding fsx: as well

Shell> map
Device mapping table
blk0 : Acpi(HWP0002,0)/Pci(2|0)/Ata(Primary,Master)
blk1 : Acpi(HWP0002,100)/Pci(1|0)/Scsi(Pun0,Lun0)

Shell> info -a all
BOOTABLE DEVICES

Order Media Type Path
----- ---------- ---------------------------------------

[empty]

So how to conclude this, whether the OS crashed or we need to create fs to boot the server.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: HP-UX boot issue

looks like it cannot see any diss.
I woul dcheck your physical disks, (assuming you are using internal disks) or the I/O card

Re: HP-UX boot issue

Hi ,

If you have boot disk, it will give you output,

Shell> map -r

Fs0 and fs1

Currently there is no boot device detected.
