HP-UX on Itanium servers
Can anyone give me some advice or point me to the correct documentation on testing HP-UX on Itanium-based servers ?
I need to setup a test plan for HP-UX on Itanium. It's not the idea to test the functionality of HP-UX, but more precisely of HP-UX on Itanium-based servers. This test plan should include several areas like e.g. : os, storage, cluster, inter-operability with other os, backup, datbases, applications, ....
Any help is eternally appreciated.

Re: HP-UX on Itanium servers
Hi,
One of the most important thing to check is if the applications, databases etc. you want to test is ported for HP-UX on Itanium. HP-UX PA-RISC code will run on Itanium but you will NOT get optimal performance.
