Hi All,
Is there an option on IA64 HP machines' EFI menu, to do the equivalent of "boot lan.143.185.143.185 install" at the (PA-RISC) IPL prompt (see at bottom).
Namely, is there a way to contact an Ignite server while no OS is loaded on the Itanium machine ?
Thanks,
Ron.

Main Menu: Enter command > search lan install
Searching for potential boot device(s)... on Path LAN
This may take several minutes.
To discontinue search, press any key (termination may not be immediate).

SolutionMake sure you have the latest version of Ignite. Note that Ignite that runs on PA-RISC cannot yet Ignite an 11.23 IA64 system. You need the Ignite version you get with your IA64 system to do this.
