Re: I can see HBA cards

VB,

Please post:

# swlist -l bundle HPUX

And we still need the Fibre Channel HBA Product numbers (i.e. A6826A, etc...) you installed in the system. There are H/W driver packages that are specific to the HBAs.

Re: I can see HBA cards

VB,

Well you'll need to open it up and get the part number off of the HBAs to make sure you have the correct *supported* driver and firmware requirements for whatever PCI-X cards these are.

Once you have this information, use the support matrix links I posted earlier to verify your system meets these requirements.

BTW:

Check the system F/W with the MP:CM> SYSREV and post along when you have the HBA part numbers.

hth,

Re: I can see HBA cards

The PCI identifier you are seeing:

10772312

suggests this is a Qlogic based card.

So install the latest drivers for qlogic based HPUX FC cards from here:

http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=FibrChanl-01

If that doesn't fix it you may have an unsupported card in your system
