You say you did a firmware update, but you also say it is
F.02.11 Jul 13 2007.
Looks still old.
Current version is:
System FW : 04.03
BMC FW : 05.23
iLO-2 MP FW : F.02.17
PDH FW : 50.07
DHPC FW : 01.23
UCIO FW : 03.0b
HFC FW : 00.04

There is still a possibility that a firewall or the network config prevent you from accessing the server.
I would try to use a crossed LAN cable and connect a PC and the server directly. Make sure to disable any personal firewall on the PC and use IP addresses from the same subnet.

Even if I try to connect from the server its self I get the following:

MP login: Connection closed by foreign host.
At the login I cant type any thing in the it times out. Frustrating.
