IVM SCSI bus ID
[Storage Interface Details]
Guest Physical
Device Adaptor Bus Dev Ftn Tgt Lun Storage Device
======= ========== === === === === === ========= =========================
disk scsi 0 1 0 0 0 file /vmdata/dookie
dvd scsi 0 1 0 1 0 file /isofiles/SQL2005Ent_Itanium-SQLENTSEL64.iso
disk scsi 0 1 0 2 0 file /vmdata/Q
In the above configuration of drives, All of them are on "Bus 0".
Is it possible to change the last disk (/vmdata/Q) to "Bus 1"
"/vmdata/Q" is going to be our Quorum drive and per windows clustering, it can't be on the same bus as the boot disk.

Re: IVM SCSI bus ID
Hello,
I thing you can add it to the a other bus by hpvmmodify command.
hpvmmodify -P -a disk:scsi:1,0,0:...:...
this add to bus1, pci controller 0, scsi-target 0.
;-)
May be this helps
