Installation of HP Integrity rx2660 Server

Can anyone having idea of the installation of HP Integrity rx2660 Server? Is that the same procedure as other HP-Unix servers installation?

what you mean HP Unix servers ( PA-RISC based cpu servers ??? ) or Itanium based servers ???

if you mean PA-risc them yes there is a difference.

I believe interity servers are only based on itanium based processors. If i am wrong pls correct me. I need to install a HP-Unix OS on HP Integrity rx2660 Server.Our company has purchased a new server rx2660 and its a rack mounted server.

Yes, HP Integrity servers are based on Itanium processors only.

The installation of HP-UX is always very similar, no matter if this is a RISC or Itanium based system.


Especially for this server you should consider to use hardware RAID (integrated mirror) for the OS!
