Integrity RX3600 change output from TTY to VGA

Received a RX3600 server with a fresh install of HP-UX. However, the server seems to go to TTY after selecting the operating system in the EFI boot manager.

Example: We have a VGA monitor, usb keyboard and mouse plugged into the unit. After selecting HP-UX (or booting from dvd) the screen will go blank and output will only be on serial.

How would I go about resetting this so it displays on VGA?

Go to EFI shell and use "conconfig" command.

Remember, once set to VGA, you cannot use remote console from MP.

I've not used conconfig within efi, but you can change this setting through one of the boot menu options. I don't have a system to hand right now to say which menu option though.

It is important to remember (as mentioned above) that you can't use the remote console through the MP if you set the primary console to VGA.
