Hello!

I install HP-UX 11iv2 on rx1620 with MP card, but i can't get output via MP card (using telnet into MP, serial console on MP), only on serial console of the server. Options in EFI Boot menu are set up "by the book".
I do firmware upgrade of hole system.
Nothing help.

What I'm missing?

What version of the firmware are you using?

Disconnect the serial console and try again?

You may have a hardware problem with the MP card.

Did you choose the option CO in the main menu of your MP?

Steven, firmware versions are the latest: System 04.13, BMC 04.01, and iLO MP E.03.30; serial cable is disconnected; and Luk (?) OF COURSE I select CO, have EFI shell, choose boot device, operating system, ...
The problem was that you can select in EFI default user interface between legacy and enhanced.
In enhanced user interface you can set up primary console (even if you select the right one in legacy user interface).
That situation wasn't documented by the HP as far I know.
