Is the nic active on multiple core I/O's on Superdome npar

I have an sx1000 superdome that we are plannig to turn a 4 cell npar into vpars. The npar will have 2 I/O chassis and 2 core I/O cards. The core I/O connected to the lowset numbered cell will be the active core I/O. Will the nic on the other core I/O card be useable?

Thanks,

Bob

Yes, you can use the NIC port on the other core IO card.

The ethernet ports on multiple core IO cards can be active at the same time.

It is documented as well. Refer the link section Core IO at
