LAN Connection to rx5670 server

My LAN connection to the core processor does not permit TELNET. LAN Connection to the MP via TELNET is possible.
Does the server need a special setting for Telnet?

Re: LAN Connection to rx5670 server

I guess that by core processor you mean the OS of the rx server. The OS connection and the MP connection are totally separate. They are two separate computers so the MP settings do not affect the OS settings. You have to look in the OS settings of the rx server for the telnet problem. You did not mention what the OS/version is on the rx server.

Re: LAN Connection to rx5670 server

The OS of the core processor is not fully installed yet. But I cannot run IGNITE-UX because there is no working LAN connection to the core processor. I have only configured the MP so far. I have set the LAN parameters and it works, but only for MP. For the core I went to CO -> SAC and entered 'i' for setting IP Address, Gateway and Subnet but SAC won't keep these settings after restart.

Current MP FW : E.03.15
BMC FW : 01.30
EFI FW : 03.20
System FW : 03.23
