Linux Install
Has anybody installed Linux on a BL860c class blade (Itanium chipped)? I am having difficulty with the EIF picking up the media. I have installed the Linux Smart Setup sofware (ver.4.7.7) but still no joy.
I am installing 64-bit for AMD64 & INTEL EM64T. I think I should be using ia64 version of the OS but cannot locate the iso images.
I have found loads of docs on installing this but none for trouble shooting when things don't go according to plan.
Rgds,
D

Re: Linux Install
Well the AMD64 version will not work on Itanium.
You need to get access to the IA-64 iso images on Red Hat's site or use the ones on http://www.centos.org
Itaniums will only run IA-64 Linux and thats the only thing that will install on them.

Re: Linux Install
Have you any idea if there is an existing RedHat IA64 version?
Thanks,
D.

Re: Linux Install
I don't think it's a publicly available download.
