MP console hangs
I have this wierd problem. This happens on my
rx2600, rx5670 and rx4640. The console gets to a point where you can ping the node but you can not telnet to the system, you get nothing trying to connect to the MP console, and if you plug directly into the back with a serial cable you still get nothing. but if you power cycle by unplugging the power to the system, the console comes up with no problems. I had 9 systems friday and 3 systems today..any ideas on what might be causing this.. also the problems seemed to appear friday when we lost a reverse lookup DNS server in India, I don't know if it is related.
thanks
Tony

Re: MP console hangs
If your MP console firmware revision is not E.03.15, try update it. E.03.15 MP firmware has a fix below.
A port scan of the MP will no longer cause
an MP hang.

Re: MP console hangs
well it looks like the real source of the
problem was that someone plugged in a hub
and put the network in a loop, whoch caused
my consoles to get locked, which doesn't make sense to me
