Multiple I/O chassis in npar divided up into vpars

I have an integrity superdome where cells 5 and 7 are one npar that I have 2 vpars running in. The I/O is connected to cell 5. I will be adding cells 0 and 2, I/O on 0, to the npar and moving the server that was on this npar into a vpar in the now 4 cell npar. Will this change the EFI when I bring up the new 4 cell npar?

Thanks,

Bob

You need to make sure it can see new paths to boot Npar.

fs2: > cd efi\hpux
fs2: > type auto
fs2: > cd \
fs2: > hpux

Re: Multiple I/O chassis in npar divided up into vpars

Thanks. My main concern was preserving my efi config from cell 5. I found out, thanks Kelvyn, that I can make cell 5 the core cell in the npar instead of letting it default to the lowest cell, cell 0.

Thanks Again,

Bob
