Need help in installing Linux on rx2660

Hi,

I got a new HPrx2660. When I tried installing Linux on that machine using SLES10.1 CD it's loading till initrd & after that it's not proceeding after that. Is there some other way to install Linux on integrity servers? Kindly help me in this regard.

rx2660 support only below operation system:-
HP-UX 11i v2 and v3 with HP Virtual Server Environment (choice of Mission-Critical, Enterprise, Technical Computing, or Foundation Operating Environment);
Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003, Enterprise and Datacenter Editions; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and 5 and Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 OpenVMS v8.3 (choice of Mission Critical, Enterprise, or Foundation Operating Environment)

Confirm Us which OS Ur trying to deploy in rx2660....

According to your screenshots the console is on serial line "ttyS1". Now it waits for input ...

What console are you using? VGA?

Go to EFI and run

EFI> conconfig


It should look like

Shell> conconfig

CONSOLE CONFIGURATION

Hi Torsten,

Your info was very helpful. Actually in my machine Serial console was configured a primary & VGA as secondary. When I configured VGA as primary display came in VGA. Thanks a lot for your help.
