Non-HP memory for rx4640s

Can anyone tell me if memory is available for rx4640s from a source other HP? I'd be interested in memory manufactured by HP or another vendor. Also, very important, do you know if using memory manufactured by a third party is supported?

Maybe you can get this from somewhere else, but such things are IMHO (of course) not supported.

Actually I just got the official word from my HP rep that non-HP memory is strictly not supported!
