Offline config of MSA60 using drvcfg -- weird problem
We have an rx6600 and have added an external MSA60 SAS array. We connect via SC44Ge (AH303A) host bus adapters. I attempt to configure it in the EFI shell using "drvcfg -s 35 3B". I get to the screen showing the twelve 1-TB drives, to create an IM volume. I mouse over to the RAID disk column and try to select a primary by changing [No] to [Yes]. But all I get is a help page on the meaning of the column. I tried space, plus, minus, and enter, but nothing will change it from "No" (it is not grayed out). I have the latest COMMON-IO SAS driver bundle. I also note that in a previous menu screen I am able to change fields using the plus key. But not on this page. Thus, I can't configure the array! Anyone seen this weird issue? Tried three terminals and still the same.

Re: Offline config of MSA60 using drvcfg -- weird problem
Hi Richard,
Is all of the System *and* SAS/EFI/MPT Firmware and Drivers up to date?
To check:
MP:CM> SYSREV
fsX:\EFI\HP\TOOLS\IO_CARDS\SAS> sasflash -listall
BEFORE any SAS updates please read the SAS Release notes and backup your NVRAM configuration settings:
