Questions on adding a new disk to an RX2620

I'm trying to add a new disk to our existing Integrity RX2620. I'm not that familiar with this particular piece of hardware.
Is there a spare bay in this to add a new disk?

If so, I need to know how to find the Model Number for my system based on the product matrix:

Thanks,
John D.

Take a look at the link given below which shows the server schematic and the specifications. If there is a space in the hard disks bay, you can add the disk there.

Thanks very much Sameer,
Still have a question on how to determine the model number so I can get the correct part number from the matrix referenced above.

Re: Questions on adding a new disk to an RX2620

You can get the product number using following offline interfaces
1. MP -> CM -> DF ( If you have MP installed)
2. EFI Shell i.e shell>info sys

From within online HPUX OS environment,
# print_manifest
# echo "sel path 'system';info;wait;infolog;exit" | cstm

Hi,

Try:
AB332A
This is certainly a product number for a variant of the RX2620.

Re: Questions on adding a new disk to an RX2620

Thanks to all for your responses. As part of a "Duh" moment I finally got physical access to the machine (it's in a server room maintained by the IT group) and low and behold there's a little tab on the front of the machine with all the info I need.

Thanks again,
John D.
