RX 2600
I am Installing SUSE 8.0 in RX2600 server. When I boot the server from HP linux Enablement Kit after selecting "Install Linux from Distribution" it come to "loading initrd.. done" and does not do anything
I am using serial console.
Please suggest me what should I do ..
Also please tell me how to enable VGA(local) on this server ..

I have only loaded RH, so can't help except that the VGA path can be selected in the from the boot management (maintenance?) options.

Hi Sachin,
SUSE RX26000 is not supported.
These are the following options to proceed ( for output from consol to vga :
Connect using the MP Port. Then go to live consol then Boot option then select the consol output option. select the last on there. It will do with the same.

Sachin, SuSE SLES 8 is indeed supported on the rx2600 as you can see on the certification page: http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/linux/products/servers/itanium-cert-matrix.html
